Clinical Dietitian II

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with patients who require specialized nutrition services, providing expert guidance and support to help them achieve optimal health outcomes. As a Clinical Dietitian II, you will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing personalized care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients with complex nutritional needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely nutrition information is shared and implemented.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on nutrition principles and therapeutic diets.
- Monitor and evaluate nutrition services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Current registration as a Dietitian (R.D. or R.D.N) with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' Commission on Dietetic Registration and/or current licensure as a Dietitian (L.D.) with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Dietitians.
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a Registered Dietitian/Licensed Dietitian in a healthcare facility working with patients at nutritional risk.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
