Clinical Nutrition Specialist, PRN

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nutrition evaluations for patients identified as at nutritional risk. Gather timely and relevant information and analyze/interpret findings based on established evidence-based guidelines. This includes safety-related considerations such as assessing the need for texture modifications and the patient's capacity for self-feeding.
- Design and execute a personalized nutrition intervention plan aligned with the patient's medical objectives, nutrition prescription, and self-management education. This may involve creating a specialized therapeutic plan for advanced nutrition support, including enteral and parenteral nutrition.
- Deliver nutrition education to patients, healthcare professionals, and allied health staff.
- Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient clinical nutrition is preferred.
- Certification as a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician is highly regarded.
The hourly wage for this position is $37.95, commensurate with education and experience.
Eligible employees may receive discretionary bonuses, relocation assistance, merit increases, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation based on both organizational and individual performance.
