Job Title: Polysomnography Specialist

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Polysomnography Specialist to join our team. As a Polysomnography Specialist, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing patient information, preparing and calibrating equipment, and performing polysomnographic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze patient information to identify patient-specific needs and determine final testing parameters/procedures.
  • Prepare and calibrate equipment required for testing, including applying electrodes and sensors according to accepted published standards.
  • Perform polysomnographic procedures, including following procedural protocols and monitoring study-tracing quality to ensure signals are artifact-free.
  • Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, and implement appropriate interventions as needed.
  • Score sleep/wake stages and clinical events according to center-specific protocols and generate accurate reports.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a polysomnography program associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility.
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (R.P.S.G.T) certification.
  • Current CPR certification.
