Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor employee performance, providing coaching and training to ensure high levels of productivity and quality.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all employees, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Oversee the rotation of finished goods, ensuring first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory management.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of warehouse operations.
  • Train and develop warehouse staff, providing opportunities for growth and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cost efficiencies and warehouse operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety protocols and operating instructions.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and to speak effectively with employees and stakeholders.
  • Mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate figures and amounts, and to apply concepts of basic algebra and statistics.
  • Reasoning ability, including the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
