Job Summary

Pilgrim's is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist IV to join our team. This is a key role that requires a strong background in industrial electrical systems, with a focus on troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot Electrical Systems: Identify and resolve electrical system issues throughout the plant, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production.
  • Maintain Electrical Equipment: Perform regular preventive maintenance (PM) procedures to ensure electrical equipment is in good working condition.
  • Develop and Implement New Control Systems: Assist in designing and implementing new control systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Research and Develop Better Controls: Conduct research to identify opportunities for improving electrical processes and develop solutions to implement.
  • Track and Monitor Recurring Problems: Identify and track recurring electrical system issues and develop solutions to prevent them from occurring.
  • Identify Equipment Weaknesses: Analyze electrical equipment to identify potential weaknesses and develop solutions to mitigate them.
  • Train and Educate: Provide training and education to operators and maintenance technicians on electrical system operations and troubleshooting.
  • Support Maintenance Operations: Assist maintenance personnel in maintaining an efficient production operation and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
  • Industrial Electrical Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of documented experience in industrial electrical systems.
  • Schematic Reading Capability: Extensive experience with schematic reading and interpretation.
  • PLC Coding and Troubleshooting: Proficiency in PLC coding and troubleshooting.
  • Electrical Certifications: Possession of relevant electrical certifications, such as Allen Bradley or Square D.
Selection Process

The selection process for this role will include a panel interview and a series of standardized and/or hands-on testing issued by the company/third-party testing facility.

This is a progressionary position, and level 3 must be achieved by 18 months from start date.
