Operations Specialist I

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mail Services Specialist I to join our team. As a key member of our mailroom operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth processing and delivery of mail and correspondence.
Key Responsibilities- Process and sort mail, including opening, scanning, and indexing correspondence
- Deliver mail to and from the post office, as well as within the office
- Review and distribute company mail, preparing it for delivery to remote offices as needed
- Perform data entry tasks during the indexing process
- Package and apply postage to outgoing mail, adhering to USPS guidelines
- Maintain and update agent, remote office, and employee addresses for mail delivery or forwarding
- Fill supply orders for agents and ensure mailroom equipment is functioning properly
- Run daily and monthly postage reports as requested
- Contribute to team efforts and accomplish various tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of six months to three years of corporate mailroom operations, clerical, and/or customer service experience
- Ability to type 30-50 WPM
- Excellent customer service skills and verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to grasp new tasks, software, and equipment quickly and accurately
This role requires the ability to sit, stand, and reach for long periods, as well as occasional heavy lifting of up to 30 pounds. Normal range of vision and hearing are required, with or without accommodations. A valid driver's license and ability to operate a passenger vehicle are also necessary.
Career PathProgression from Level I to III is determined by confidence level, comprehension of job responsibilities and knowledge skills, self-motivation, completed education requirements, contributions to the team, and tenure within the role. Level IV roles involve covering for department managers, mentoring new hires, and making decisions in their absence.
