Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic II to join our team at Safran. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing turbine components, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and disassemble turbine components using hand tools, measuring equipment, and balancing and grinding machines.
  • Perform quality control checks and testing, including Automated Test Procedure (ATP), to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Install instrumentation and perform other tasks as required to support manufacturing operations.
  • Support other areas of the business with general manufacturing needs and perform other tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 2-5 years of related experience and/or training.
  • Airframe and Powerplant certification required.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.
  • Working knowledge of engine design and ability to assist in analysis with manufacturing and design engineering.
  • Basic level Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
