  • Assessing chemical processes to pinpoint areas for modification or optimization to meet industry standards. Conducting analyses of operational processes, resource allocation, energy consumption, and safety protocols, and recommending improvements.
  • Gaining a thorough understanding of production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and other relevant information about facility operations to refine processes for improved manufacturing or service delivery efficiency.
  • Researching and developing innovative processes, equipment, and products. Creating detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflows.
  • Evaluating existing manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities. Resolving problems and implementing enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team to achieve objectives.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with a focus on maintaining accurate records and preparing clear reports.
  • Ability to apply engineering principles and techniques to solve equipment, building, and infrastructure challenges. Strong analytical skills are essential.
  • Experience in preparing engineering specifications, statements of work, and estimates for a variety of facility-related projects.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a facilities engineering role or a similar position.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise.
