Job Title: E&I Specialist

We are seeking an experienced E&I Specialist to join our team at Boardwalk Pipelines, LP. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair on reciprocating and centrifugal compression and auxiliary equipment at our Pineville Compressor Station.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on electrical and instrumentation equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on pumps, motors, breakers, sensors, relay panels, circuit boards, and control panels
  • Calibrate and troubleshoot transmitters
  • Inspect and maintain turbine equipment
  • Operate the station on a rotating basis and respond to call-outs and emergency response situations
  • Recognize and report abnormal and safety-related operating conditions, accidents, and near misses
Requirements:
  • 1-5 years of gas pipeline operations and maintenance experience or equivalent petrochemical/oil industry experience
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills, and a history of safe work
  • Mechanical, electrical, and technical maintenance skills
  • Ability to work outside in hot, cold, muddy, and wet environments and ability to stand for long periods of time and climb stairs and ladders
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record and ability to maintain a Louisiana Class D license
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of gas pipeline operations and maintenance experience
  • Natural gas compression experience
  • Familiarity with DOT 192 Regulations
