Join Our Team as a Tax Senior Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Associate to join our team at Forvis Mazars. As a key member of our tax team, you will play a critical role in providing tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to pass-through and C-corporation entities
  • Assist in supervising, developing, and coaching professional tax staff
  • Help develop and manage client relationships
  • Provide timely and unmatched client service and exceed client expectations
  • Represent Forvis Mazars in the marketplace at networking events
  • Participate in the proposal process for potential new clients
  • Participate in campus recruiting initiatives and programs
  • Contribute to Forvis Mazars-sponsored technical guidance for internal and external publications and to internal learning and development sessions
  • Work with your team to assign projects and resolve scheduling conflicts
Requirements:
  • Relevant progressive experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and experience in public accounting
  • A strong sense of ownership for delivering high-quality service to clients and experience servicing multiple client engagements
  • Excellent supervisory, team-building, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work well with a team as well as independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A solution-finding attitude
  • Willingness to take initiative
  • Precise attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and against target dates
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience
  • CPA license or have secured the educational requirements to satisfy the 150-credit hour requirement necessary to obtain a CPA license
