Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join our team at Lassen's Natural Foods. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the receipt and processing of incoming shipments, as well as ensuring the timely and accurate distribution of products to our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and organize received goods into their store location, and load up departing goods into transportation vehicles.
  • Maintains the Shipping and Receiving Log with complete data of products coming into the store.
  • Takes accurate temperature checks of perishable products as they arrive at their store location and rejects shipments that are above 41°F.
  • Ensures that all accepted perishable items are placed into the correct cooler immediately upon arrival.
  • Rejects shipments that are damaged.
  • Ensures products arriving and leaving on the Lassen's Transportation Truck are properly handled.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in shipping and receiving, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
