Quality Systems Manager

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, execute, and uphold the organization's quality assurance framework in alignment with industry benchmarks and compliance mandates.
  • Formulate and document quality protocols, policies, and operational processes.
  • Remain informed about pertinent quality regulations, standards, and leading industry practices.
  • Guarantee the organization adheres to all relevant quality and compliance obligations.
  • Supervise the development and upkeep of quality-related documentation, such as standard operating procedures, operational guidelines, and quality manuals.
  • Organize and perform internal and external evaluations to determine adherence to quality standards.
  • Introduce methodologies for the ongoing enhancement of the quality assurance framework.
  • Create and provide educational programs on quality protocols and practices.
  • Work collaboratively with various departments, including production, research and development, and supply chain, to ensure quality standards are woven into all operational processes.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of the quality assurance framework.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field).
  • Extensive experience in quality management, particularly in quality systems.
  • Thorough understanding of applicable quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, etc.) and compliance regulations.
  • Experience with auditing practices and managing audit initiatives.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) is advantageous.
