Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Cardiac Monitoring Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing your knowledge of medical terminology.
- Interpreting cardiac rhythms accurately.
- Managing telemetry supplies effectively.
- Monitoring and reporting patient conditions to the appropriate personnel.
- Performing physical tasks that may involve lifting and moving patients or equipment.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred experience of at least six months in a similar role within an acute care environment.
- Current BLS certification from a recognized provider.
- Experience with cardiac monitoring is advantageous.
- Completion of a Basic EKG/Arrhythmia course.
- Proven ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias.
- Successful completion of a Basic Rhythm test during the interview process.
