Job Title: Echo Technician
Job Summary:
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Echo Technician for a travel assignment in a top healthcare facility. As a key member of the Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab team, you will be responsible for preparing patients for examinations, performing 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode, and Doppler studies, and maintaining accurate records of patient echo studies.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for examinations and perform echocardiography procedures
- Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment
- Develop and maintain accurate records of patient echo studies
- Collaborate with supervising physicians to train residents, fellows, and other physicians
- Stay up-to-date with the latest echocardiography technology and techniques
Requirements:
- Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology
- Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound
- Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply physicians' orders, policies, and procedures
