Job Summary:
BB&E is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to support the company's program management office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and construction management, with a minimum of ten years of experience in a senior professional role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, program, design, engineer, and/or construct projects for various clients, including government agencies and private sector companies.
- Assist with security alarms, access control, and systems.
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of ten years of experience in a senior professional role, with a strong background in engineering and construction management.
- Professional Engineering License in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Experience with codes, standards, design, and construction requirements for renovation of historic administrative facilities, Secret Open Storage Areas (SOSA), and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF).
- Ability to organize and gather project data, conduct analysis, prepare reports, and provide recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to utilize and apply computer software skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for at least 60% of the time.
- Operate office equipment, including computer, copy machine, phone, etc.
- Light lifting, under 10 lbs.
- Ability to work on-site on a standard 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday.
