  • Close Process Support: Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking, to ensure efficient cash flow management.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights on budget variances, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Internal and External Audit Support: Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Accounting Policy and Procedure Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Budget and Forecast Preparation: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in Agriculture, Construction, or Manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, strong organizational and time-management skills, effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Certification: CPA or working towards certification is a plus.
