Position Overview:
The Automotive Systems Integrator plays a pivotal role in spearheading the design and implementation of automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs) across various domains including Electrical Hardware, software integration, functional safety, ECU diagnostics, and strategies for software/electrical hardware longevity to ensure effective vehicle deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Chassis functionalities through practical in-vehicle and laboratory testing.
- Collaborate with chosen suppliers to ensure that the system fulfills all customer functional requirements.
- Engage with the systems team to establish vehicle-level functional specifications.
- Create and sustain system Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEAs) and support functional safety initiatives for features and ECUs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Proven experience with component/module release processes.
- Comprehensive understanding of the automotive ECU development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Controller Area Network (CAN) systems, including tools such as Vector CANalyzer, CANOE, CANape, and neoVI.
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in managing suppliers and/or engineering teams.
- A minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in electronic components or ECU development.
Work Environment:
This position may require travel as part of the job responsibilities.
