- Conduct comprehensive breast imaging procedures, including Mammography, Ultrasound assistance, cyst aspirations, and core biopsies.
- Employ precise technical factors to minimize radiation exposure while achieving optimal image quality.
- Process imaging films with accurate patient identification and appropriate markers.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their physical and emotional needs while upholding ethical standards and confidentiality.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements set forth by state and national guidelines regarding mammography practices.
- Maintain a sterile environment for invasive procedures and assist medical professionals as needed.
- Ensure all necessary supplies are organized and readily available for procedures.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and community partners.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in imaging techniques and technologies.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT Certification in Radiography and Mammography.
- A valid state license as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Current CPR Certification.
