Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced mammography equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient comfort and proper positioning.
  • Conduct comprehensive breast imaging procedures, including Mammography, Ultrasound assistance, cyst aspirations, and core biopsies.
  • Employ precise technical factors to minimize radiation exposure while achieving optimal image quality.
  • Process imaging films with accurate patient identification and appropriate markers.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their physical and emotional needs while upholding ethical standards and confidentiality.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements set forth by state and national guidelines regarding mammography practices.
  • Maintain a sterile environment for invasive procedures and assist medical professionals as needed.
  • Ensure all necessary supplies are organized and readily available for procedures.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and community partners.
  • Stay informed on the latest advancements in imaging techniques and technologies.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT Certification in Radiography and Mammography.
  • A valid state license as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current CPR Certification.
