Job Summary:

As a Radiology Technologist at Steward Medical Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join our team of medical imaging experts.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images and information, ensuring patients are properly prepared and positioned. Select proper imaging techniques and follow department protocols to provide complete studies for exams requested. Provide complete documentation of exams and deliver diagnostic-quality images to radiologists for interpretation. Calculate and select proper technical factors, operate equipment as required, and maintain radiation protection standards. Explain exams to patients, considering their physical and emotional needs, while maintaining ethical standards. Utilize aseptic sterile techniques for invasive procedures and assist radiologists or physicians as needed. Be knowledgeable in the operation of imaging equipment, film processors, and systems for checking appointments and patient reports.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an approved formal program in Radiologic Technology; ARRT certification. Massachusetts License as a Radiologic Technologist (Radiography) with at least 2 years of experience. Current CPR certification.
