Job Title: Estimating Coordinator

Murray Company Mechanical Contractors is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estimating Coordinator to provide administrative support to the estimating department during the bid process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and review incoming quote opportunities, ensuring timely completion of pertinent information.
  • Maintain the company quote log and update bid status in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate and timely distribution of bid packages, addendums, and documentation to the estimating team.
  • Assist in preparing bid or proposal documents for timely submission.
  • Qualify equipment and subcontractors for bid opportunities.
  • Update Excel bidding templates for preparation.
  • Prepare documents required for proposal responses to clients.
  • Add and update trade partner contact information.
  • Assist estimators in procuring bids and qualified subcontractors.
  • Review exclusions and clarifications from equipment bids.
  • Input estimating calendar entries and update as necessary.
  • Create estimating project folders and set up with necessary bid documents.
Requirements:
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and problems simultaneously, with a focus on cooperative resolution.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively disseminate information.
  • Ability to work efficiently under deadline pressure.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Microsoft Office Suite and other software proficiency.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and results-driven approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with commercial or industrial construction procedures and trades.
  • Blueprint reading experience.

Murray Company Mechanical Contractors offers a competitive hourly rate of $26.00 per hour.
