POSITION SUMMARY:
The Retail Solutions Associate consistently provides an exceptional customer experience to all patrons, employing consultative techniques to foresee customer requirements, propose alternatives, and deliver effective solutions. This service-oriented team member possesses comprehensive knowledge across all facets of the store's operations, including printing, signage, and logistics. Responsibilities include processing orders, coordinating in-store activities, delivering pricing and product details, and recommending suitable FedEx Office offerings.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adheres to the directives of supervisors and supports fellow team members in executing store functions.
  • Contributes to the training of new store personnel.
Service
  • Exhibits consultative behaviors in a retail setting to comprehend each customer's unique needs.
  • Offers expertise in printing, signage, and logistics, recommending appropriate FedEx Office products and services.
  • Delivers an outstanding customer service experience by utilizing consultative skills to anticipate needs, suggest alternatives, and find solutions.
  • Ensures prompt resolution of all customer issues to their satisfaction.
  • Processes complex customer orders through order systems, providing accurate pricing information.
  • Prepares goods for shipping by assembling parcels, weighing packages, and affixing labels.
  • Operates printing, binding, and related equipment using customer-supplied media and documents.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and organized retail environment.
Profit
  • Safeguards customer data confidentiality and carefully handles documents and packages.
  • Processes financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including cash handling.
  • Maintains and stocks all retail store printing and shipping equipment for optimal performance.
  • Stays informed on retail merchandising materials and ensures proper display of products and signage.
  • Takes proactive measures to prevent errors and waste.
  • Completes necessary financial documentation and may assist with financial reporting.
  • Adheres to FedEx Office standard operating procedures and complies with legal, HR, safety, customer service, and security policies.
Self-Management
  • Manages multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Seeks opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills within the retail environment.
  • Operates effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Complies with all FedEx Office team member and retail store standards.
  • Performs other duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6+ months of relevant experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift, excluding breaks.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 55 pounds.
  • Ability to bend and twist consistently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain focus and attention for extended periods.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and adhere to established business hours.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. Actual starting pay will be determined by experience, market level, and other job-related factors. Employees may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonuses. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: $22.45/hr
