Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Aspire Pediatric Therapy LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language services to children in our care.
Responsibilities- Select and administer appropriate evaluation tools and procedures to assess children's speech and language skills.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address children's communication needs.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Provide education and training to families and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and research in the field.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Illinois.
- Experience working with children with communication disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and strategies.
- Knowledge of neurodiversity-affirming practices and principles.
- Fluency in a language other than English (e.g., Spanish, American Sign Language).
- Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
- Option to move to a full-time, salaried position.
- Paid indirect time for report writing, consultation, and meeting attendance.
- Mileage reimbursement.
- $300/year stipend for ASHA dues, IDFPR licensing, materials, and/or continuing education.
