Job Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist is a key member of the healthcare team at Tower Health, responsible for performing radiographic procedures to produce high-quality images for medical interpretation. This role requires a strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic procedures, including positioning and exposure techniques, to produce high-quality images.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of radiographic procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest radiation protection and safety protocols.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and institutional policy.
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient needs.

Qualifications:

  • Post-High School Diploma in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Relevant experience in radiologic technology or a related field.
  • Certification and licensure as a Registered Technologist (RT) or eligibility to sit for the ARRT exam.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • Collaborative and detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
