POSITION SUMMARY:
The Imaging Service Engineer operates under minimal supervision to execute and document routine maintenance, intricate repairs, and inspections on a diverse array of medical devices, emphasizing advanced imaging technologies.


Qualifications:
A minimum of 4+ years' experience in the maintenance and repair of General Radiology and CT equipment is essential; experience with multiple manufacturers is preferred.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducts maintenance and repair tasks for the Diagnostic Imaging Department within the designated area, leveraging specialized expertise in all imaging modalities to perform tests, repairs, calibrations, inspections, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
  • Utilizes extensive technical knowledge of both wired and wireless networking, as well as radiology computer systems.
  • Assists with additional responsibilities as assigned by management to support Clinical Engineering initiatives.
  • Mentors Radiology Equipment Specialist I and participates in manufacturer training to enhance equipment support.
  • Engages in departmental meetings, ensuring effective communication and documentation of assigned responsibilities.
  • Ensures adherence to company policies and government regulations.
  • Develops and presents solutions to supervisors regarding critical operational issues.
  • Provides technical guidance and training on equipment usage and maintenance to staff.
  • Assumes further responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.
  • Maintains productivity levels in line with operational and billing standards.
