POSITION SUMMARY:
The Imaging Service Engineer operates under minimal supervision to conduct scheduled maintenance, intricate repairs, and thorough inspections on a diverse array of medical apparatus, particularly focusing on advanced imaging technologies.


Qualifications:
A minimum of 4+ years' experience in the maintenance and repair of General Radiology and CT systems; experience with multiple manufacturers is preferred.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducts maintenance and repair tasks for the Diagnostic Imaging Department within the assigned region, utilizing specialized expertise in all diagnostic imaging modalities to perform tests, repairs, calibrations, inspections, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
  • Demonstrates strong technical proficiency in both wired and wireless networking, as well as in radiology computer systems.
  • Undertakes additional responsibilities as directed by management.
  • Mentors junior Radiology Equipment Specialists and participates in manufacturer training as necessary to support equipment functionality.
  • Engages in departmental meetings, ensuring effective communication and documentation of tasks.
  • Ensures adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develops and presents potential solutions to supervisors regarding critical operational issues.
  • Provides technical guidance and training on equipment operation and maintenance to staff.
  • Maintains expected productivity levels in line with departmental requirements.
