The Brand Protection Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Brand Protection Manager and Senior Specialists by undertaking various responsibilities, including enforcement actions against trademark violations, copyright infringements, misrepresentations, phishing attempts, and other related financial matters, as well as managing invoice processing and providing status updates for managerial review.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts monitoring and surveillance of ETS brands across global markets and online platforms, utilizing effective search methodologies.
  • Engages directly with website administrators and social media platforms by drafting correspondence, submitting takedown requests, and tracking feedback.
  • Exhibits strong conflict resolution skills to deescalate issues post-enforcement with infringing parties.
  • Handles invoice processing, coordinates payments, and maintains comprehensive payment records and databases.
  • Analyzes infringement data and generates reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Independently addresses Brand Protection inquiries from other divisions within ETS.
  • Identifies opportunities for process enhancements and cost-saving measures, implementing approved changes.
  • With minimal supervision, prepares and submits cease and desist letters and takedown complaints.
  • Ensures adherence to ethical standards and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Proficiency in Chinese and/or Arabic/Farsi at a Professional or Advanced Professional level is essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
  • Strong collaborative skills, understanding the impact of individual contributions on broader organizational strategies.
  • Stays informed about ETS products and services to provide necessary intellectual property protection.
  • Demonstrates excellent English communication skills, both oral and written, suitable for interaction with all levels of management and colleagues.
  • Possesses well-developed research and organizational abilities.
  • Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Teams and Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

Education and Experience

  • Associate Degree or equivalent experience is required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Certification in Paralegal or Intellectual Property is advantageous.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an international corporate environment focusing on copyright and trademark infringement investigations and enforcement.
