Position Summary

We are in search of a proficient Financial Insights Analyst who possesses strong skills in Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite, and QuickBooks Online. Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Data Interpretation: Evaluate financial information from diverse sources to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable insights to guide business strategies.
  • Data Visualization Development: Create and sustain dashboards and reports using Power BI, transforming intricate data into accessible visual formats that aid organizational decision-making.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate and present accurate financial reports, forecasts, and analyses utilizing QuickBooks Online and other financial management tools.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Employ Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to develop financial models, reports, and presentations that effectively communicate financial insights.
  • Contract Pricing Evaluation: Perform in-depth analyses of contract pricing, including cost structures and profit margins, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market dynamics.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting Support: Assist in the formulation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve financial goals.
  • Process Enhancement: Identify and implement opportunities for improving financial reporting and data analysis processes, adopting best practices to boost efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Partner with the finance team, department leaders, and other stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and support strategic initiatives.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure all financial data and reports adhere to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, maintaining comprehensive documentation.
Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Experience: At least 2 years of experience in financial data analysis, ideally within a corporate finance setting.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Proficient in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
    • Experience with QuickBooks Online for financial management and reporting.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and deliver actionable insights.
