Position Overview:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will be instrumental in delivering direct patient care under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Your role will involve assisting in patient management, ensuring effective communication, and maintaining organization within the clinical setting. This position will require you to work with patients experiencing orthopedic issues, including work-related injuries and rehabilitation following surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute treatment protocols and facilitate rehabilitation sessions.
  • Educate and support patients in exercise regimens and home care plans.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, supervising therapists, and referring healthcare providers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient progress.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Utilize physical therapy management systems effectively.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and patient management software.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as a PTA in California.
  • Experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
