Job Description

We are seeking a Disability Services Advocate to join our team in Oakland, Maine.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

In this role, you will provide support to adult consumers with intellectual disabilities or Autism Spectrum Disorder, helping them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

  • You will develop and implement individualized support plans to promote health and independence.
  • You will work collaboratively with the consumer and their support network to address unmet needs and utilize their strengths.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary for the job.
  • You must possess a compassionate and caring demeanor, as well as a passion for helping people with disabilities.
  • Prior experience working with adults with disabilities is a plus.
