Job Summary

Benton County is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our primary care team. As a Physician Assistant, you will provide high-quality, comprehensive medical care and treatment to a diverse patient population in a patient-centered, team-based model.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for primary care and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including certified medical assistants, RN care coordinators, clinical pharmacists, health navigators, and behavioral health consultants.

The Physician Assistant will manage patient panels between 700 and 1,200 patients and see approximately 14 patients per day. After-hours call is shared among the full primary care group and supported by a nurse triage line that manages the vast majority of after-hours requests.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach medical residents from several organizations as well as medical students from the local medical school.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, comprehensive medical care and treatment to a diverse patient population
  • Manage patient panels between 700 and 1,200 patients and see approximately 14 patients per day
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
  • Participate in after-hours call and support from a nurse triage line

Requirements
  • Unrestricted Oregon Medical License (license to practice in the State of Oregon or licensed in a different state with the ability to obtain an Oregon license)
  • Valid Oregon driver's license
  • Hiring is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
