Job Title: Associate Relationship Manager I

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Relationship Manager I to join our team at Fifth Third Bank, National Association. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for partnering with Relationship Managers to identify and develop client solutions, conducting industry research, and creating client presentations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Relationship Managers to identify and develop client solutions
  • Conduct industry research and create client presentations
  • Assist in identifying and qualifying prospects with Relationship Managers or RM Team Leads
  • Conduct initial pricing analysis and generate relationship pricing models
  • Draft initial deal screen/opportunity memos
  • Attend and participate in client presentations at Relationship Managers' request
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, Accounting) or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of related commercial banking, finance, accounting, or similar experience
  • Novice knowledge of financial and risk analysis
  • Novice knowledge of US economy and regulations
  • Novice sales and business development acumen
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with commercial lending credit policies and guidelines
  • Knowledge of B2B, CCAS, AFS, RIMS, CHQ, Loan Doc Prep System (or equivalent vendor systems)
  • Local/Regional market dynamics understanding
