Job Overview

EPM Scientific is a leading recruitment firm dedicated to offering bench-to-bedside services for life sciences companies. We are partnering with a top healthcare company to find an experienced Marketing Manager.

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Marketing Manager to join our client's team in the Bay Area, responsible for developing and overseeing promotional materials, adapting brand strategies, and managing marketing budgets.
  • The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of marketing experience, including 2+ years in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated industry marketing.
  • They should be proficient in digital tactics such as social media, web, and paid media, and have advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee promotional materials, including Personal Promotion & Non-Personal Promotion for consumers.
  • Adapt the brand's strategy/tactics leveraging insights, agency management, and marketing budget management.
  • Submit new promotional materials for MLR review through, manage expiration dating of existing materials.
  • Compile digital analytics for cross-department reports.
  • Work closely with agency partners to evaluate metrics and quickly pivot when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred.
  • 4+ years of marketing experience on the client or agency side.
  • 2+ years in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated industry marketing experience.
  • Experience with digital tactics such as social, web, paid media.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Advanced computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to interface with both internal and external stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and senior management.
  • Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills, including understanding metrics/KPIs, and the ability to interpret and draw conclusions from data.
  • Ability to work with multiple internal cross-functional teams and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated consistent track record of success in project management and producing results as a team and individual contributor.
  • Experience working within appropriate regulatory guidelines to successfully design and execute tactics, programs, and tools that achieve business objectives.
  • Experience managing agencies, consulting firms, and/or other vendors preferred.
