About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled eMotor System Engineer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating eMotor systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of eMotor stator and rotor assemblies
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to develop and test eMotor prototypes
  • Develop engineering specifications and quality documents for eMotor components and assemblies
  • Lead system engineering meetings to ensure effective collaboration between teams
  • Integrate lessons learned from previous programs to ensure robust prevent recurrence actions
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or related field of study
  • 3+ years in product development
  • Experience in eMotor, xEV gearbox design and testing activity
  • Strong working knowledge of design for manufacturability
  • Experience working with suppliers, particularly international suppliers
  • Knowledge of powertrain testing tools, analytical and CAE tools, and performance modeling
