Job Summary:

Western Express is seeking a skilled Truck Detailer to join our team. As a Truck Detailer, you will be responsible for maintaining the exterior and interior of our fleet of trucks to ensure they are in top condition. Responsibilities:
  • Clean and detail the exterior of trucks, including washing and polishing surfaces.
  • Vacuum and clean the interior of trucks, including upholstery, carpets, and surfaces.
  • Inspect trucks for any damages, scratches, or imperfections and report any issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Ensure that all cleaning and detailing tasks are completed according to company standards and guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the detailing area.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience working as a detailer or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work meticulously to achieve high-quality results.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team when needed.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods and lift heavy objects as required.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment used in vehicle detailing.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment and adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Driver's License is required; CDL is preferred.
