Certified Nursing Assistant

The Certified Nursing Assistant is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing direct care to residents and ensuring their comfort and well-being. As a key player in our Long Term Care Unit, you will work closely with our nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care and support our mission to provide exceptional service and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and other duties within your scope of practice.
- Accurately and timely check and record vital signs, including temperatures, pulses, respirations, and blood pressures.
- Ensure residents are clean, dry, and comfortable, and report any concerns to the supervising nurse or manager.
- Timely and accurately record information on appropriate charting forms and complete required documentation of nursing care.
- May perform custodial, housekeeping, food service duties, and wheelchair escort services as necessary.
- Assist residents with eating when necessary and participate in case conferences related to resident goals and care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- MO CNA certification required if working in MO; KS CNA and Home Health aide certification required if working in KS.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft operating system and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent time management skills and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The Certified Nursing Assistant will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, frequently exposed to inside environmental conditions and occasionally exposed to outdoor elements. The associate may be required to drive from one location to another and may be called upon to assist other departments in a declared emergency situation.
