Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef - Culinary Operations to join our team. As the second-in-command of our kitchen, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring that every dish meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef with menu planning and recipe development to ensure consistency and quality across all dishes.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to guarantee exceptional taste, texture, and visual appeal.
  • Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness, organization, and safety in the kitchen.
  • Conduct regular inventory management to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with the Front-of-House team to ensure timely delivery of dishes and exceptional customer service.
  • Foster positive relationships with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients at competitive prices.
  • Monitor and analyze kitchen operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive recipes, ingredient lists, and cooking procedures.
  • Implement cost-saving measures and process improvements to reduce waste and enhance profitability.
  • Schedule shifts and manage labor costs to meet business demands while maintaining optimal staffing levels.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new techniques, and innovative products to continuously improve our offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing kitchen teams and improving operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, recipe development, and inventory control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
