Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business needs and priorities, working closely with business domain leadership to ensure alignment with our technology strategy.
  • Lead the identification and analysis of business drivers that determine key architecture requirements, and develop technical solutions to meet those needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight for design and development activities within the Data Engineering Domain, ensuring that our technology solutions meet the needs of the business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes, including solution, platform, and enterprise architects, and key vendor partners.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendor partners to stay up-to-date on industry developments, regulations, and trends, and identify potential impacts on our business.
  • Design and oversee efforts in building effective Proof-of-Concept demonstrations and socialize the results throughout the organization.
  • Participate in vendor/product selection activities, including the development of vendor/product evaluation models used in Requests for Proposal (RFP's).

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with modern data architectures and platforms, including Snowflake, Informatica IICS, AWS Cloud Native services and database, and data governance tools.
  • Experience with data solutions such as Snowflake, Informatica, and AWS.
  • Strong technical skills, including architecture design, development, and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and align with business needs and priorities.
