Data Engineering Domain Architect

Job Summary
Comerica Bank is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Domain Architect to lead the creation and evolution of our technology road map. As a key member of our team, you will participate in the development of architectural frameworks, methods, design patterns, and tools within the Domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance data products and advanced analytics
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify strategic priorities and program risks
- Provide technical recommendations and solutions to achieve business objectives
- Establish reusable building blocks and guardrails for project teams
- Collaborate with solution, platform, and enterprise architects on domain needs
- Lead feasibility studies and POC for new business solutions
- Identify redundant solutions or manual processes that can be optimized
- Design and oversee efforts in building effective bank-specific Proof-of-Concept demonstrations
Deliverables
- Owning domain technology roadmap
- Creating conceptual designs and estimates for solutions
- Creating reusable patterns from domain
- Making technical decisions at a program level
- Remediating program technical risks
Requirements
- Experience with modern data architectures and platforms such as Snowflake, Informatica IICS, AWS Cloud Native services, and database, and data governance tools
- Extensive experience with data solutions such as Snowflake, Informatica, and AWS
- Strong relationships with business domain leadership to ensure a deep understanding of changing business needs and priorities
