Associate Director of Development, UC Cancer Center

The University of Cincinnati Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Associate Director of Development to join our team. This role will focus on implementing successful fundraising strategies for cancer research, education, and patient care across the Academic Health Enterprise.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support institutional priorities in cancer research, education, and patient care.
- Build and maintain relationships with physician champions, grateful patients, alumni, and community partners to secure funding for cancer initiatives.
- Work closely with the Executive Director of Development to develop and implement metric-driven financial targets.
- Ensure appropriate stewardship of gifts and donors in portfolio.
- Collaborate with UCF departments and fundraising specialists to enhance fundraising revenue and donor impact.
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of progressive fundraising experience or advanced degree with 2-3 years of experience.
- Record of successful gift solicitations and closures.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact favorably with a diverse group of individuals and to foster strong, productive relationships.
The University of Cincinnati Foundation offers a competitive salary range of $60,000-$75,000 annually, as well as a total rewards package inclusive of performance-based bonus, competitive health and wellness benefits, tuition remission, retirement with employer match, paid parental leave, and paid vacation, sick time, and holidays.
