Estimator Job Description

At PC Construction, we're seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you'll play a critical role in the success of our projects, working closely with our team to deliver high-quality estimates that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute accurate quantity takeoffs and unit pricing using estimating software
  • Connect with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing information
  • Solicit scopes of work and quotations from subcontractors
  • Maintain material pricing information in our estimating database
  • Develop a mastery of construction methods and their impact on project costs
  • Oversee projects to learn actual methods and costs of field operations
  • Drive the production of detailed cost budgets on successfully bid projects
  • Partner in collecting and maintaining historical cost data on past projects
  • Perform value engineering and participate in constructability reviews

This is a hybrid position, with the option to work full-time in our South Burlington, Vermont office or on a part-time basis in one of our regional offices. As an employee-owner of PC Construction, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to our company's success and share in our profits.
