Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management to teams assigned to projects, ensuring safe, profitable, and timely completion.
  • Establish and maintain professional working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Champion the orderly and timely completion of projects in the field.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure successful and profitable execution of work.
  • Assure coordination with the Project Manager and procurement schedule with the Project Engineer, paying special attention to prevention and documentation of delays or changes.
  • Use available reports to manage costs and prepare accurate cost projections.
  • Review and execute all change orders.
  • Complete close-out requirements and punch lists promptly.
  • Provide feedback to estimators for future bidding or negotiations, especially subcontractor performance evaluations.

Requirements:

  • Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical training and/or related experience.
  • 7+ Years Experience in Multi-family managing construction projects and a thorough knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment utilization, scheduling systems, productivity analysis, construction operations, and cash flow procedures is essential.
  • This manager-level can manage large projects of a complex nature and possibly multiple projects.
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
