Position Overview

Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators, support staff, and volunteers to create a secure and nurturing educational atmosphere for children aged 0-5.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist the Lead Teacher and Teacher Assistant in managing and overseeing classroom dynamics.

2. Help prepare educational materials for designated activities as requested by the Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher.

3. Supervise and guide children during safe play activities, both indoors and outdoors.

4. Ensure a clean and hygienic environment by disinfecting all surfaces and toys regularly.

5. Provide assistance to children with feeding, toileting, diaper changing, and personal care as necessary.

Engage with children, parents, families, volunteers, and staff members.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Required:

1 – 3 years of relevant childcare experience.


Certifications:

Must obtain Adult and Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certification within six months of employment.

No additional certifications required.


Skills and Abilities:

Required:

● Ability to assist a Lead Teacher in developing and executing age-appropriate lesson plans based on thematic units.

● Capability to support teachers in supervising and managing groups of children, ensuring their health and safety.

Preferred:

Understanding of childcare environments and the associated risks.
