Job Title: Admissions Advisor/Recruiter

Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a highly motivated and organized Admissions Advisor/Recruiter to join our team. As a key member of our Admissions department, you will play a critical role in assisting prospective medical school applicants through the admissions process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and participate in special admission on-campus events, including tours, applicant information sessions, and retention activities.
  • Evaluate incoming applications and track follow-up efforts to ensure all required materials are received.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Admissions application processes, software, and database.
  • Collaborate with Enrollment Services departments to validate admission/enrollment materials.
  • Represent Burrell College at off-site locations, such as colleges, conferences, and travel-related initiatives.
  • Compile comprehensive travel reports and statistics.
  • Develop and facilitate Admissions presentations for prospective students and visitors.
  • Articulate the Burrell College mission to various publics, serving as a liaison between Burrell and college counselors, advisors, students, parents, corporations, and government representatives.
  • Manage a recruitment territory and/or population, contacting, visiting, and informing prospective medical school applicants and health profession advisors about admission to Burrell College.
  • Complete routine reports related to recruitment, projections, conversions, personal schedules, travel, special programs, and expense reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to travel for recruitment during peak seasons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and around deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide excellent customer service.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to provide a clear driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with AMP or similar Admissions management systems.
  • Experience working with students in an admissions-related environment.
  • Experience giving presentations to large groups and giving tours.
