Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Designer/Project Manager to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various design projects, including website builds, PDF designs, and Data Center improvements. This role requires exceptional creative skills, project management expertise, and experience working with developers to review their work, manage timelines, and resolve UI and UX challenges.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented designer/project manager to contribute to our mission by delivering high-quality design solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, fine arts, communications, or a related field, as well as a minimum of 3 years of project management and senior-level design experience. They will also possess excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to resolve complex design and communication issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee website builds, including the development of high-fidelity designs and the coordination of developer progress
- Manage the creation of PDF designs, including the selection of freelancers and the oversight of their work
- Improve PRB.org's Data Center through potentially creating a new landing page or implementing a more extensive revision
- Coordinate with key staff to ensure timely completion of design projects
- Collaborate with the selected developer to devise Data Center updates
- Oversee the outsourcing of various design projects, including PDF designs, and manage the associated tasks
Requirements
- Degree in graphic design, fine arts, communications, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of project management and senior-level design experience
- Excellent creative skills, with strong knowledge of graphic design software (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Mailchimp, Canva, WordPress)
- Good collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to resolve complex design and communication issues
