Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team in a part-time or full-time position. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide quality dental care and oral hygiene guidance to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough dental cleanings to ensure optimal oral health for our patients.
  • Provide personalized oral hygiene education and guidance to patients to promote good oral health habits.
  • Take accurate dental x-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and treatment plans.
  • Administer local anesthetics under the direction of a dentist to ensure patient comfort during procedures.
  • Perform dental charting using electronic health record systems to ensure accurate and efficient record-keeping.
  • Comply with HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive information.
Qualifications
  • Valid state license to practice dental hygiene.
  • Proficiency in medical and dental terminology, vital signs, and medical and dental documentation.
  • Experience working in a dental office setting.
  • Knowledge of CAD software for dental imaging is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance.
