Concrete Finishing Specialist

About the Role
Aerotek is seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Specialist to join their team in the York area. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for completing concrete finishing tasks using power trowels. Your experience and expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality finishes for large warehouses, commercial buildings, and other projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up job sites by unraveling tarps, laying them out, and preparing the area for concrete work.
- Use a rake and shovel to move rocks and debris from the work site.
- Participate in cleaning up the site as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with power trowels and concrete finishing techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and tools.
- Strong physical stamina and endurance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
