Job Title: Private Duty Nurse RN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes, assisting them with transitioning from the hospital and ensuring they receive the continuous care they need to thrive.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in our system of record
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease prevention
  • Communicate with physicians, clients, family members, and staff on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
Qualifications:
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Reliable transportation
