Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Staffing Coordinator to join our team at Alliance Precision Plastics. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the hiring process, conducting new hire orientations, and providing exceptional customer service to employees and candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and select top talent for all locations, with a primary focus on Rochester, NY
  • Utilize electronic recruitment tools, including social media, to attract and engage potential candidates
  • Conduct new employee orientations, schedule pre-hire screening, and conduct reference checks
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, records, and statistics in accordance with laws, regulations, and company policy
  • Ensure confidentiality and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
  • Communicate effectively with employees, customers, and vendors to ensure understanding and accurate transfer of information
  • Support the HR team as needed and participate in meetings and seminars to maintain skills and knowledge
  • Assist with employee benefit programs, training programs, and personnel development programs
  • Monitor and ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures, as well as employment laws
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Human Resources practices and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience conducting new hire orientations
  • Customer service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to effectively handle employee relations issues
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with recruitment and talent acquisition
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems and software
  • Understanding of labor laws and compliance
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers
