Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. Your primary duties will include maintaining appropriate staffing levels by recruiting and onboarding new employees, implementing HR policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and staff learning and development planning.
  • Provide support and guidance to management and other staff on sensitive questions and issues, and administer routine tasks in delicate circumstances, such as providing reasonable accommodations.
  • Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for non-exempt companion service roles, and evaluate skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Conduct or acquire background checks and all pre-employment and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including administering learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Administer ongoing employee training programs and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
  • Maintain knowledge of new technologies and trends, including best practices relative to recruitment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of recruitment experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, multi-tasker, and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Working knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's ADP, payroll system.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 per year, 401k, emergency medical care (EZ Access), and paid time off. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with in-person work location.
