Position Overview
Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems sector is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer Level 2 to enhance our expanding operations.
This role will be based on-site and involves working on advanced military programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in Integrated Product Teams for intricate production initiatives.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to facilitate the assembly of electronic products.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of circuit designs.
- Maintain the technical data package for products.
- Lead the resolution of technical challenges.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to collaborate successfully within a development team.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a relevant industry (0 years with MS or PhD).
- Experience in developing digital electronic subsystems.
- Familiarity with circuit card design from high-level specifications.
- Knowledge of RF and digital signal processing, including signal conditioning and algorithms.
- U.S. Citizenship is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with RF and digital signal processing design and implementation.
- Proficiency in Altium.
- Experience in developing digital electronic modules, circuit boards, ASICs, and/or FPGAs for aerospace/military applications.
- Familiarity with DoD architectures and Industry/Military Standards.
- Active U.S. Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $75,300 - $112,900. This range serves as a general guideline; however, various factors are considered when determining base salary offers, including the role's scope and responsibilities, as well as the candidate's experience and skills.
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and other incentives.
